We decided to make self portraits a little different this year. We made silhouettes of our faces and filled them with our favorite things. Here is the process we took:
1. Take photo of ourselves side on.
2. Print and cut out our heads
3. Trace the lines we need for a full silhouette
4. Sketch pictures that symbolize our favourite things.
5. Use colouring pencils to add colour
6. Dye the background and mount. FINISH!
We've also been looking at animal reports in class. We decided to write about ourselves in the third person as if we were animals in the wild. We reported on what we look like, our diet (what we like to eat) and our habitat (where we live).
